Tokyo 2023

This was my third trip to the best city in the world and I already am dying to go back. Incredibly lucky I’ve gotten to photograph 3 weddings in Tokyo now. But here are some of my favorite moments from our recent trip. This time we spent the whole time in Tokyo, staying at a hotel near Ginza and exploring neighborhoods and things we had never been to before. Our last 3 days were spent at Tokyo Disney and I can truly never look at the US parks the same. Thanks for taking the time to look!

#WolfsNotWolves do Japan 2018

This year I blocked off the month of May so Becca and I could spend three weeks exploring Japan. We spent our first week in Bunkyo, Tokyo with our pals Marisa and John, then we spent 4 days in Kyoto, 3 days in Osaka, then a week in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Truly the most amazing trip of my life, I miss Japan every day.

Thanks to my amazing wife Becca at the bottom of the blog entry I've included an amazing video using 1 Second Everyday from our trip and a database of all the food we ate.

Enjoy the photos and if you can, go visit Japan.

PS Most of this trip was planned using JOURNY, if you want to give them a try use THIS LINK and you'll get a free day of planning! (not an ad, they just were awesome)

Below is a database of the restaurants we went to. If you'd like to see the full database with Accommodations and activities follow THIS LINK

California Travels

My favorite thing to do during the winter when I have some down time is escape the cold and head west.

I had the chance to stay with some friends at the amazing Homestead Modern in Pioneertown for a night. Hang out in downtown LA with my friends at Put This On. Spend time eating and hanging and exploring all that California has to offer with pals new and old.

Iceland Adventure 2015

In early July Becca and I and our favorite travel pals John + Marisa took a hop over the Atlantic Ocean to visit Iceland for John's 30th birthday. Iceland is a country many of our friends have been praising for years. What you see in photographs from Icelandic elopements or travel diaries can not do justice to seeing the sights of Iceland in person. From the sound of silence at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon or filling up a water bottle from a flowing river and having it be the clearest water you have ever seen or the 24 hours of daylight. It is just as magical as everyone says.

These photos are mix of 5D Mark III images shot with the 24-70 Mark II rented from LensProToGo (perfect for travel + hiking) and my iPhone 6+

We were able to do the whole Ring Road in 7 days and Becca completed a handy map for anyone interested in doing a similar trip, all the icons are clickable with more info/pics/tips. You can find that map HERE.

Wolf Travels - San Francisco, Eugene, and Portland

Becca and I packed up our bags and headed west to San Francisco, drove up to Eugene, and then to our final destination of Portland. It was such a blast and all three cities were amazing in their own ways. We ate so much food that we eventually forgot what it was like to be hungry. We saw so many friends that we almost never get to see. And on top of all that got to bask in the glorious west coast weather.
