This is day one of Jacqui and Sam's game changing two day affair. I am so happy I finally got the chance to photograph a Cambodian wedding. It took place in their home and involved four separate ceremonies, each one involving a new outfit for Jacqui, Sam, and the whole bridal party. Each ceremony and outfit was truly amazing and totally different from the last. I am so glad I got the chance to photograph such a beautifully unique wedding that perfectly matched this couple. Even though it was full of traditions including a hair cutting ceremony, monks, knot tying, and seed throwing. They still had fun with it and it was very much them. Thank you Jacqui and Sam for inviting me to be part of this amazing celebration. Day 2 coming soon.

So this week has been crazy. After my last post it got crazier with the whole world focused on an area less than a mile from my home. But it is done. And we are back to life. And I wanted to get the blog back and going as soon as possible because hopefully it will bring some extra smiles to some faces after everything this week. And again, don't forget, if you can please donate to The One Fund. Katie and Max celebrated their love at Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA. Two of the kindest people I have truly ever met. The whole day all they cared about was how everyone else was doing and if everyone else was having a good time. They remembered that I told them I never get to eat the cake...so after they cut the cake, I got hand fed a piece of their cake. Everyone had a blast and enjoyed one of the most beautiful days we have had yet in 2013.

Rita + Jeff - Publick House - Sturbridge, Ma. Wedding Photography
Rita and Jeff have been personal favorites since they took me out for hot dogs before their Rockport engagement session and I don't think I could have asked for a better couple to kick off my 2013 with. Personal favorite moments of the wedding were their knot tying ceremony that related back to how they first met at summer camp, Rita getting into her wedding dress, then changing into a shark onsie so she can relax a bit before the ceremony, and of course the look on Jeff's face after Rita rubbed his head right before the ceremony. It was a blast of a wedding and I am super happy to share it with you all!
