Personal

And into 2013...

This has been such an amazing year, my life has never been closer to perfect. I met amazing couples, photographed said amazing couples fantastic weddings, started The Danger Booth, traveled all over the US (Florida, New York, LA, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Montreal, Vermont, Nashville, Raleigh, Maine, + Chicago), had the opportunity to photograph a wedding and make new friends in Tokyo, was featured on a WHOLE bunch of different blogs, spent lots of time with my girlfriend, friends, and family. I even walked away without anything but a big scar on my leg from what could have been a very tragic car accident. So I wrapped up my last wedding of 2012 a couple weeks ago and I came back to my homestate of FL to spend some time with my family and girlfriend. It's been a perfect way to wrap up the year.

I'm posting a few new photos I took while on vacation rather than a recap of 2012 wedding photos, because you've seen those and I'll be updating my portfolio soon anyway.

Here's to looking forward and to making 2013 even better than 2012. Thank you to everyone that has come along for this ride with me, I genuinely thank you. I could not imagine my life any different than it is today.

Thankful

I am so thankful. For everything. For my family, my friends, and the fact I have the best job in the world and the best couples in the world. Here is some personal work from a recent trip to Chicago to visit my friend Paul Octavious and then some photos from MaxFunCon East in the Poconos. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Japan

A few photographs from my travels in Japan to photograph a wedding. Typhoon season kept it raining for most of the trip so my SLR unfortunately stayed in my bag for more than I wish it did, but I did capture these images. Harajuku Rabbit Cafe

The Chris Gethard Show!

I am lucky enough to have been photographing Chris and his exploits for a little over a year now. First time I worked with him was just portraits in Queens (which eventually were used for the cover of his book), the next time was when he brought his show here to Boston and I took photos there, and now I finally made it down to NYC on a Wednesday night to catch last week's taping of his public access show. He told me I had free reign to do as I pleased, so I did a mix of photojounralism and portraits) including SNL's Bobby Moynihan who was a guest that episode. It's hard to explain what is going on if you aren't already a viewer, so I recommend checking out The Chris Gethard Show, it's one of the highlights of my week, every week. Also coincidentally the musical guest were Animal Tropical who I know from my time in Florida when 2 of the guys were in the band Pygmy. The Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Chris Gethard ShowThe Human FishBobby Moynihan
