5 years ago I photographed Alli and Ben's engagement session, since then we have remained great friends and they have both contributed helping me and Becca in our careers. I am so happy to know these two and to get the amazing opportunity to photograph them before their little one arrives! And also it was great to finally meet Jones too!
Becca and I packed up our bags and headed west to San Francisco, drove up to Eugene, and then to our final destination of Portland. It was such a blast and all three cities were amazing in their own ways. We ate so much food that we eventually forgot what it was like to be hungry. We saw so many friends that we almost never get to see. And on top of all that got to bask in the glorious west coast weather.

Met up with Sara and Devin and their pup Layla to explore their neighborhood of Beacon Hill for their engagement session. It was a cold one but we toughed it out and had a blast in between almost slipping on ice, stepping in puddles, and dodging falling icicles. I can't wait for their wedding this October at Alden Castle. It is going to be a blast.

Last month I traveled to Connecticut for Mystic Seminars, I had never been to something like this before. Went in with no expectations, ended up making a handful of new friends, getting closer with old ones and having a great time. Oh and being cold, VERY VERY COLD. A big thank you to Walter for having us all to CT.
